Thumbs up New Carving & Pyrography Show

How much interest would you have in a new competition, show & sale featuring all the styles of carving, pyrography, intarsia, scrollsaw and their appropriate sub-groups do you fee there would be located here in Calgary? Is this a good idea and how would one organize something like this? I already understand, being in sales myself that I will need sponsors, but how do I approach them and help them understand what's in it for them? I already have a list of preferred sponsors. I already have a vision on what this would be like including having offerings of workshops in many of the areas we wil be judging, displaying and demonstrating.

Any ideas, feedback, comments etc. would truly be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for you thoughts.

Regards,
Linda

Linda -- I sure wish I could offer you any ideas but I don't have a clue so I'm just bumping this up.
