Default A new bark house

Finished this one recently, sold a couple other recent ones I never took pictures of and I have another one close to being finished. Montana gold bark the gargoyle is carved from black walnut I didn't make it too detailed but I think it looks like a gargoyle when you step back. Boards for the top floor grey brick for the lower levels, no chimney these forrest goblins must live in a warmer climate .

As always tell me what you all think and be honest, I learn from criticism.

Talking Re: A new bark house

Dimensions are 15 1/2" long, 4" wide at widest, 2" thick, and the gargoyle is 1 1/2" tall.

Carl, your bark house is very nice. I just got myself a piece to play with. I was thinking it was to thin, but after seeing yours, I think I will give it a try. thanks for the inspiration. Evie

I have been carving houses like this for around 3 years now, bark is one of my most favorite materials to work with. Thanks for the comments and the gargoyle was made from the scrap of a pen blank.
