Well, it's the end of February - we're looking at March and into Spring. We all know my carving focus is on Santas, but I want to come up with a few 'spring'-type guys and I just can't think of any good ideas. I could do the usual rabbits and eggs, but I really want to think of something different. Any 'spring' ideas come springing to mind? Let me know! Thanks Teri |

Teri, you know Santa probably gardens in the Spring, right? You could do a Santa with a basket of tulips over his arm. Or one kneeling (I know that's not your usual style : ) planting or gardening somehow. It's also the time of year when animals are giving birth to little ones and reindeer are no exception.Just a thought, Brian |

Along comes St. Patrick and the leprechauns, being careful of the trolls under the bridge but fascinated with the mermaids in the water and the fairys in the trees...

Teri How about your Santa holding some young birds in his hands, or perhaps having a brewski in his hand with his foot on a John Deer tractor like the rest of us this time a year. 8) ![]() Cheers Ric |

Fishing season is comming up,have you ever carved a salmon fly? I saw it in a book once and now don't know where but it looked good. Of course Santa would be into catch and release so make the hook barbless !
