Help,I need a small round over cutter bit-preferably 1/16 radius that has a pointed end(no pilot). I called dremel and no luck. Does anyone know if Weecher or Foredom has this cutter? I am trying to cut some stamens(?) or buds in the center of a flower. Any other cutter shape cuts into the adjacent bud. Don't know how to get there ? Can use any help. pandb12167@aol.com thanks.pw

Maby you could try making your own from another Dremel bit, shouldn't be much grinding. Skip

Normally you would use a silicon carbide dressing stone. Surely you could buy a Dremel type grinding bit with a close enough radius. Skip

I've looked, but nothing close. I maybe going about this wrong, maybe I should buy a 1/8 stone and grind the radius in another type of cutter. What do you think??pw

Have you tried using a regular drill bit? Just hack it to a usable length and use a little grinding for shape. I've used small broken drill bits to clean loose matrix out of cracks in fossils.

Thanks fop.. I had not considered that, but it sounds like a good idea. I may give it a try. Thks, have a great day. If you will pm me,I'll show you a set up I devised for a Mill-route. Its mainly a sign carving machine, but I mounted a dremel on the front and will try to carve a tudor rose tomorrow. pwMotorcycle
