Hi, I have friends that have the Ram, and are well satisfied with them. NSK is also a good name. If your going to use it extensively look for a hand piece with the extra HD bearings. I believe that Ram has that feature, not sure about the NSK.
I am shopping right now for a new Micro Motor, and have been asking about the different types. My Gesswein has worked hard for me for a number of years, it has been expensive to run, and slow to get parts for. Gesswein quoted me $85. for a new cord recently, and Foredom Micro Motor cord is about $26. Plus Gesswein shipping and handling charges are extremely high compared to the foredom dealers.
If your going to use a Micro Motor a lot, like every day, you might want to look at the Foredom.
Also while I'm rambling on here, the Optima is offering a very inexpensive unit, and it looks good to me. I have the old style optima, and have used it for a back up when the Gesswein was out of commission. It worked well and their service was commendable. Hope this helps.
