Default Need help to identify

I just received some carvings from my father who passed away. I was looking to identify the artist and an approximate value of the birds. The carvings are really detailed and look really nice.

I don't know anthing about decoys or bird carving, but if they were from MY father, I would consider them to be the most valuable decoys in the world. You have a very nice legacy there, display them with pride and enjoy them.

The whole story is that my dad was also a avid decoy and bird carver as well as a collector. He had these in is collection. I have and treasure his own personal carvings.

A friend of mine is a dealer and both him and his wife are really good at identifing and pricing birds. I will print the pictures and take them to The Easton WildFowl Festival next week. I will see them there. They look like some nice decorative style decoys.
