just finished this piece, bass wood, 11 by 14 inches , it took about a month. Hope you like it.

Great work, I'm curious to the finish you used, it looks like several coats of wax. I just finished one and I'm having a hard time getting the finish looking right. Yours looks great I think mabye a lot more elbow grease.

Another fantastic piece Rick. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed that the headdress was set onto his head. You gave some great depth with your cuts long his neck and other areas...don't know how you got your tool in there. Like the bead and claw work as well. The finish really makes him stand out.
