Default My flute fetish
I made this for my wife's flute using a piece of cedar.
It's my first attempt at this kind of carving.
The form just slowly revealed itself as I whittled on it.
Getting the air slot just right had an impact on the final shape also.
Now to get up the nerve to try a flute.
I have a nice sasafrass limb that would fit the bill.
