Default My first pictures from the Wood Carving Show in Quebec

Today, it was installation time. It was a lot of fun and we already had some visitors even if it was just the installation day.

I had good comments, even from some other carvers. That was cool. People liked the boots.

First, my worktable with 3 vises... and a few pieces I want to work on.

Then the exhibit table, 6' wide.

And finally, the carving I presented for the judgement.

Btw, I worked on it until late last night, yet wasn't satisfied with the colors, and made a few changes this morning at 6h30

Still not completely satisfied, but the first comments were good.

I wanted to add a few accessories on the scene, but didn't have time to make them.

Nice looking display you have there Gilles, you're sure to do well in the judging. Also it's great to be able to see a picture of the person who does the carvings.
Thanks for sharing

Great looking setup, good luck! Maybe you should enter that big smile of yours in a contest, easy to tell you're having a great time.
