Default My First

The wood is teak from India 10"x6" and this is my first carving with a knife. I carved it with my Carvin Jack it is the only tool I have here. I had fun just working with a knife. I sure do long for my beautiful studio and all my tools. This is what I love to carve the stylized female figure. I am working on a similar figure in mango wood I am pushing the limits on size with a knife for my ability. You know if it was easy it wouldn't be fun.
