Default My cousin dropped a hint

My cousin has been hinting that she would enjoy having one of my carvings, and as she has been unwell recently, and knowing that she collects angel figurines, I made this for her in the hope it will cheer her up a little.
Carved from a single piece of Jelutong 1½''x2½"x5" this angel is a pattern I formed from various pictures downloaded from the net. I am definitely NO competition for Ian Norbury when it comes to faces, and Jelutong although a good timber for general carving, doesn't allow for much fine detail, tending to crumble. (that's my story..and I'm stickin' to it) So here she is" warts and all, just hope she cheers my Cuzz a bit. I f she does, then it's all been worthwhile. Thanks for looking.....

p.s. not sure why the differences in colour, think my camera is like me, and past its " Use By " date....LOL

Hi John,

That's a wonderful carving, no excuses, er, mmmm, stories necessary. Even the expression on her face is serene, very appropriate for an angel.

She'll love it for sure.
