Default My 3rd carving, sort of...

I messed with carving years ago, but became more of a scrollsawyer, (you can see my work on the sister site to this one, SSW&C). I've recently started carving again, and this is my 3rd one since just before Christmas, (I made a Santa for my Mom's collection). I also made a snowman with stovepipe hat and all. This guy is from Mike Shipley's Woodcarving the Country Bear & his friends. I'm working now on doing Ma Bear. I'm going to give them to my sister for her birthday, next week. Please, Critique away...

Thanks for sharing your bear with us Jim, if Maw is as good as Paw , well then I'm sure your sister will make one very proud owner. A critique from me wouldn't be much use....I'm an Aussie, so what do I know about Bears? except that I like this one a bunch <grin>
