| | | My 3 Cypress Knee Santas Thanks for all your comments on my earlier posts as I was placing a pic up each time I finished another Santa Knee, all three knees have been carved and thought I'd post one consolidated pic showing all three. For those of you that have never carved a cypress knee, I found them to be quite enjoyable and can easily visualize others characters to be carved into them other than Santas, I will purchase some more down the road. Currently, I'm going to take a stab at doing some chip carving, will show some pics as I get involved in over the next two weeks. |

| | Re: My 3 Cypress Knee Santas They look fantastic Bill. Now, ya think you could carve on my knee, the doctors don't seem to want to.
Thanks for the updated picture of all three. Individually, they looked great but together. Oh man, OUTSTANDING! |

| | Re: My 3 Cypress Knee Santas Great job! I tried carving a cypress knee once and spent more time sharpening my tools than carving. Very abrasive wood.

| | Re: My 3 Cypress Knee Santas Bill, wonderful carvings pretty soon you are going to be known as the Cyprus Knee Carver. Very distictive style that I would know anywhere. Thanks for posting the pictures gives me the motivation to dig out that batch of knee's I have in the garage.

| | Re: My 3 Cypress Knee Santas Beautiful work Bill.... such character from such a small/narrow carving. Each is so unique and when taken together, they just "fit" or suit each other so well. Great job.
