Default My 1st. Place Entries

This weekend show in Niagara Falls Ontario, pictures of my two entries that both took 1st. place, been carving only under 15 months, but have had some success with four 1st place wins in three different show around Western New York area. I really enjoy this board, haven't wrote to much because I feel i lack the experience to offer advice. Will try to participate more for the group because that's what makes it happen. So I say thanks to all who have logged comments in the past because thay sure have helped me very much, so you all have had a hand in helping me get these 1st place awards as my email/message board consultants. as example, this board gave me help/direction to make my water scene in the narwhale piece. Bill in New York (coffeeman)

Coffeeman, I've got to find out what kind of coffee you drink! What excellent carvings, in all the genres! Congratulations on your first places, they look to be well deserved.

It would appear that you are well suited to offer advice, too.

Keep a'goin, man!

Al

Coffeeman: Excellent work. Congratulations on your
first place finishes. And after only fifteen months of carving, it sure gives me something to shoot for.

Thanks Al, Clifford, Mark, Steve & Sam for your positive comments. Al, I drink the best coffee, my own, I started a coffee company 23 years ago, hence 'Coffeeman'. I started carving 15 months ago, I find the 'hobby' really stress reducing, and believe me or not, I positively feel that carving promotes my ability to be 'creatively productive' mentally, which i believe helps me in my day-to-day running of my business. Anyways, thanks again and I'm working on some more, this area in NY has two more shows coming up. Thanks Bill in NY
