Hello all, I would like to purchase music box movements for my current project, but my searches have not been successful...I have found "cheap" movements in which tune is unrecognizable, or the high end $150.00 +, which I can't afford. If anyone has a suggestion I would be most appreciative. |

Try Rockler, Woodcraft and see if they have what you want. Cherry Tree toys is another.....not to sure of that name though. Another that comes to mind is Musicmaker Kits. Good luck!

Thank you for the quick responses!! I have been to all of your suggested sites and more. I think I'll have to put this gift off until I can save up for the 30-32 note swiss. Mom is worth it!

Hi For what it's worth. I once made a turning with a music box that I pulled from a old jewelry box bought at a thrift store. The movement was in great shape but not the box so it was a good deal. Neil |
