We told you, Terry, that you are really going places and you sure have. We just got our Carving Magazine and saw your spread in there and are so thrilled to know you and have one of your Santas. Congradulations and I feel we will be saying that often... Congradulations to you too Nancy And Al. You both are the best too. Would like to have one of your Santas ,but can't afford them lol. Keep up the good work... Big Un and Charlotte

Thanks, everyone. I think anytime carvings are included in a museum gallery display, we should all jump up and down for all carvers everywhere. Carving is so often not recognized as a 'true' art form, but rather as a trade or handicraft (and should I say, SANTA carving art especially suffers from this notion).

Any recognition that stands in the face of such silly thinking is a triumph for all carvers who leave a piece of themselves in their work.

'Art is not a handicraft, it is the transmission of feeling the artist has experienced.' - Leo Tolstoy

Oh, yeah....duh.....I received a few pictures from the exhibit and have posted them on our Picturetrail site in the Holiday Album.

If you recognize any of the artists whose work is included, please raise your hand and let us know. I've marked the ones I knew.
