Merle,On this longer board,I just drew the town and carved it adding the people and other items and carved them into the different places then just painted it. Only guide is my old brain!!

Thanks my good friend,Merle for stopping to view this old mtn town and your good thoughts about it.

Forrest

Man! What an interesting carving and what nostalgic feelings it stirs up! You must have an intimate knowledge of small town life!

Millard as a young boy growing up in the country we had a general store and an old garage but too Ive dine at nice restaurants in NY and in Ca also. Our past doesnt always make us today who we are,it makes us appreciate it and how far in life we've came.
Theres so many items and things we could carve and this was a collage of some of the past for me.
The main thing is,Im glad you liked it and I thank you for your neat thoughts here about this carving.
