Default Mtn Laurel man

Just getting back to carving today, had several branches of Mtn Laurel, its a large bush that grows in the Mtns with beautiful flowers in the spring & summer.

Its a hard wood, totally white in color, very close grains. carved him then stained him. Hes has one hand in his over alls pocket and the other one showing. Hes 1. 1/8 inches wide and 5 inches tall. The bottem is the bark, looks like the scales of a snake & smooth.

Your thoughts are always welcome and I hope you like him.

Forrest

Forrest
Hey Ole Buddie for some reason when I first saw him I thought of Hatfield & McCoys,so now you have to carve that little Mn Gal that caused all the feuding.
