Default "Mr Wizard"

We have a local businessman in town nick-named Mr Wizard, so I thought I'd carved up a woodspirit to give him to hang up on his office wall. I don't know him very well, but got the idea after hearing his local radio ads.

Put one picture in the woodspirits album.

Planning on going to his office on this tuesday to walk in and give him my gift, inspired by his local ads.

Great carving as usual you are like wine, you get better with age.LOL . In all seriousness I am sure he will just love it. It has so much character and it is certainly a nice gesture on your part to carve it for him.

It would surely leave a lasting impression as a stranger walking into a business and presenting the owner with a carving. The world these days, random acts of kindness of far and few between!

Hey Coffeeman,
Awesome wood spirit. Great carving. Lucky guy that's going to receive it. And how thoughtful of you to carve it for him. It will certainly be a great 'housewarming' gift.

Hey CoffeeMan,

I agree with all the others. The piece looks very nice!

I know I would be very honored & awe-struck for a complete stranger to give me such a fine piece of art.

I think that just goes to show your character!

I proud to know that I have found a site (& am a small part of) that is full of members that are good hearted people. Sorta restores my faith in humanity. Carvers (most anyway) are a great group of people.

Nice story Coffeeman and great work on the wizard! Having just ventured into wizards and other types of faces (besides woodspirits ) this summer I really enjoy seeing how others do theirs.
