Carved this recently. He is carved out of basswood. Hope you like it, any comments are welcome.

Wonderful job Carl. Is he finished with BLO? It looks like he was made from a 2 x 2 block. Is that right?

Fred, Slowmover, Thanks for the nice comments. Joe, he was still a little wet from the BLO, and carved from a 1.75 x 1.75 block, he was rough carved, and not band-sawed.
