Default Mother with 2 cubs

This was a found cut off slab and the bears are relief carved in it. Its old maple and has dried for about 2 yrs,it was hard wood.

Plus a odd shape, the top is 1/8 inches thick, the bottem is 1 3/8 inches thick and its tall at 6 3/4 inches plus long at 12 inches. I wished it would have been thicker all over so I could have carved it deeper.
Course painted with acrylic paints. I see one mistake as I unloaded these picts?? I didnt put any light on the girl bear at the bottem noise but will correct that in half a min. LOL

Yours thoughts or comments are always welcome, thks' Forrest

Very nice; I like the way you have the cubs posing; that's exactly how they would be in the wild

Another one from the bear king! This is one of my favorites Forrest. And you carved it in maple no less. Painting is tops as always. Something special about this one and the pose. Thanks for posting it Forrest!

Corey
