I like both very much! These carvings give more ideas for the Jenga block challenge too.

I'm also a sucker for "packratting" every little, tiny bit of basswood and put it on the shelf for some future carving.

Thanks Lighteningbolt. What is your size limits for saving scraps? Sometimes I have a hard time throwing anything away. Other times, I can limit myself to 1" x 1" or so.
