Nice spoons...looks like they have a good finish also!
I had a student once that did spoons out of every hardwood she could find. One spoon was made of lignum vitae and you could see shadows through it, it was so thin.

I used cooking oil for a finish one most of them. I've read here that it could get rancid but i've never had a problem with that. Some I just use johnson's paste wax for floors.
