| | Mongolian Wise Man This character looks very similar to a carving a did a while back and he was a Mongolian with a braided mustache. Well this guy has the same look so he's dubbed the "Mongolian Wise Man". He is carved in raw basswood and stands a little over three feet. I finished him a while ago but forgot to post pics. I was going for a beard like elder Asians might have but my daughter said the whiskers are too dense. Thanks for viewing.

| | Re: Mongolian Wise Man Thanks everyone. Now that I see his pictures posted, I may consider putting some sprigs of hair along the side to give him a more wild look. I made his forehead a little high to recover any wood so he will be a balding Mongolian Wise Man.
