Default Missoula, Montana Seminar

I just returned from a week in Montana where I sharpened tools for the carving seminar at the University of Montana.

I was kept busy from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

I sharpened 246 tools with 91 of them being V-tools.

Wednesday I gave a 45 minute free sharpening class to 31 carvers. I hope everyone enjoyed it and learned something.

This weekend July 29th thru August 1st, I will be at the 'Spit & Whittle' Â*at the Friday Creek Campground in Bow, Washington. Â*I will give at least one carving class during the weekend. Â*

Bring sharp tools, I have had enough sharpening for a while!!! :P

Thats right Nancy, like Rick, I too recall Al saying that he was really looking forward to his next visit to your home so he could sharpen all of your tools. In fact, I think you should make sure you dull them up really well before he shows up to mooch from you again so he can have a REALLY GOOD TIME with them. Make sure you tell him that Rick and Dave told you about what he said. Dave

awwwwwhhhh -- the only reason Longo comes up here is to steal ideas. He spends every minute copying stuff and eating so never has time to shapren a tool.
