Since we're now in the land of the "snow bird" and will be for the next couple of months, I realized I didn't bring enough cut outs to last. I've been trying to find some place to rent some time on some woodworking tools and they don't seem to exist. I finally found an add for someone selling a table top Delta band saw at a reasonable price and I picked it us so now I can get back to carving. It's just the right size for the Condo and I can store it in the closet without any trouble it will cut wood up to 3" so I'll have to keep the projects small, but I sure miss my basement shop back in the snowy north. I think someone who opened a wood shop down here and rented out time could have a nice business with all the "birds" flocking down here in the cold months.

Folks might check for a local carving club to see if a member or two might help with time on their bandsaw. I know a couple in my club help out other members with cutting out patterns.

When I moved here I could not have my band saw for almost 5 months. The local high school was very happy to have me in the shop.
