Based on several inquiries about a second round Mini Friendship Cane exchange, I make this post to see if there is any interest. With only 13 participants in round one, I think that there might be more folks interested in participating in another round. Therefore, please respond to this posting if you are interested. If there is enough folks interested, I'll take suggestions on any changes to the first round specs, and we can organize and start round two. Thanks, Tom H |

Tom: I would love to participate again, but please take new people first and use me as fill-in-at-the-last, so others get a chance... Claude |

It would be nice to see some pics of your mini canes...sounds like fun. Been off here quite a bit building a garden etc etc...so haven't noticed if pics have already been posted?

Tom, you can add me as an alternate as well. I really liked the first project, but I want everyone who wants to have a go at it to do so.

Tom, I had a bunch of fun with the first one and will do something similar again but way too busy with summer. ![]() As far as the things to change, might want something with a bit bigger hole. It would allow for a useable "cane" and a bit more durable. I don't think I would go with many more than 13 carvers so it stays a do-able project. It certainly was a very worth while project and one I will cherish the result of forever. Thanks to all of you who have participated you are all very talented and giving people. ![]() It made getting the mail in fun again! To those of you who have the time, give it a try. You will not regret it, there are many talented carvers out there and they all are great at giving it their all. Thanks most of all to you TomH for giving me the opportunity to participate! Doug
