Default Mini birdhouses

Wasn't sure if I should post these, not lots of carving, just a bit finishing the hollowing with a kutzal, mostly done on my lathe.

Woods used: Left: Birdseye maple, Bocote, Holly. Rt: Ebony, Bubinga, Curly Maple.

Decided to make a few more, fitting the turned sections. The perches are turned down to 1/8"

Woods used, Left: Ebony, Tulipwood, Osage Orange

Middle: Purpleheart, curly maple, the glue-up block I made the top from has some ebony in it as well.

Right: Osage Orange, boxelder burl, ebony.
I had only gotten 2 ornament hangers so I made this one from coat hangers, sanded, sprayed with a self etching primer and gray paint. 4 coats of satin lacquer on everything.

The top of the center one is from a glued up block I made a few years ago and still had part of it laying around.

What do you think of them?
Thanks ~Mike

Mike , Those are really outstanding. A couple of the birds look a little big though.

Expert craftsmanship, and the finish looks perfect. Nice job on the stand too.

Very nice, Tom
