After seeing Gene's video I tried without success to get a copy, I was able to get one through inter-library loan. While I may not be able to keep a copy in my home library I was able to get the patterns and read the book this way. Perhaps they will do a reprint Mike Shipley is one of my favorite carving authors

I also had problems in getting a copy and that's why I mentioned that one on Ebay, because I would have bought it if I didn't find another copy a couple of days before.

And being able to read the book and get the patterns was very important for me. I am very interested in the nautical theme for carving and I realized that I liked Mike Shipley style and designs.

I really don't have any place where I live to borrow these books, so I have to buy them from the internet.
