Default Mike Shipley class tomorrow

I am looking forward to tomorrow morning when we start a three day class taught by Mike Shipley that is set up through my club. The class is sold out, and I have high hopes of learning something from Mike. I have only taken one class prior, and that was a one day event. I didn't learn anything, and my friends that were with me say the same, so I sort of have a bad taste on classes. I am confident though that this one will be different. Would love to hear from anybody that has taken a class from Mike to tell me how they think it went.

I am going to spend today sharpening and polishing everything that I am taking with me to the class, want them as tuned up as I can get the. Will probablly come home with a new knife or two, I am a sucker for good tools, and my friends that have his knives like them, and I really like the feel of the handles.

I will try and take some pictures (if I can remember to get some batteries for the camera) to post after the class is done.

Hope all of you on the forum have a great weekend.

I haven't had the pleasure of taking any of Mike's classes but they're great people to deal with and if you leave without buying a 1-3/8" mini detail knife you'll regret it for a long time!

Mike is a great teacher. I think you will be pleased with your completed project. Also his knives are really good they are my favorite.
Tell Mike hello from Arkansas.

You lucky dog! Mike is a super instructor and Sherry handles the business end. A perfect team. You will really enjoy this seminar. Be sure and pick up some of his knives, I love 'em.
