Mid-America Woodcarvers Fall Show & Sale

Just wondered if anyone here plans on attending the Mid-America Woodcarvers Association Fall show this weekend in Omaha? About 3 years ago I attended and it was very nice. I stocked up on some nice basswood/tools. I'm thinking about going again. It's a bit of a drive from Yankton, SD but I think it will be worth it again. You know you just cannot have enough of nice carving wood and carving tools even though X-Mas will be here before we know it. Plus, the bonus of meeting and seeing some wonderful carvers and carvings!

Yes I will be there and have a table. Not too many here from the board that are in the area. Stop by my table and would love to meet you! We will have several wood vendors, Moore's Roughouts. The Woodcraft Shop etc, 2 wood dealers and I believe Dunkle Knives will be there as well.

I have been off all week getting ready .. finishing carvings etc.

The Mid-America Woodcarvers Association of Omaha, NE will be hosting the 36th annual Show and Sale on October 30, and October 31, 2010. It will once agin be held at the beautiful German American Society located just south of 120th and Center in Omaha, NE. The show runs Saturday 10:00 to 6:00, and again on Sunday from 10:00 to 4:00. Admission is just $2.00 with children under 12 free.

My plans are to be there at opening. I have made the last 7 shows. Always enyoy going met Corey and some of his little guys last year. Plan on being there at opening Sat.
