What advice can anyone offer on purching a micro carver? Looking at the Optima 2 Plus and the Mastercarver Micro-Pro. Ready to cash in on the dremel.

I can't offer advice on the other two (except to say I do have the MasterCarver Rotary system and really like it!). My microcarver is the RAM 45 and I absolutely love it. My MasterCarver Rotary can do detail work, but the smoothness of the detail isn't as nice as the RAM, at least for the quality detail I want. Hope this helps. Whatever you decide, please let us know your opinion of it! Thanks! Deborah
