I'd suggest Dockyard, but even they may be too large for the things you carve.

Pfeil has some awesome micro palm tools, I use mine all the time and just love them. And sharp right out of the box. Patrick |

I will second the Dockyard stuff. They have some incredibly small knives too, that ought to be right up your alley. Dockyard Micro carving tools for adding detail to wood carving. |

Years ago when I left the startin' gate I bought a full set of Flexcut's which included a 1.5 mm gouge and a 1.0 mm V tool but soon found out that because of the configuration of the Flexcut tool itself I couldn't always get into all the spots that I needed to get in to. Like the rest of the guys I went out and bought a set of Dockyards and really haven't been sorry except that I wish that I hadn't bought them in a set as I've never used the skew and only used the chisel once or twice. I wish that I'd bought them seperately and bought two different sized V-tools and gouges.

Thank you all for helping me out. I've had a look at the Dockyard tools and they look good.

I'll second third and fourth the Dockyards. I used mine every day.

I love my dockyards...Statlander sells them individually, and probably other vendors as well. I like picking the ones I want rather than a set because I always see something ina set I would never use.
