Hi gang,
If you are wondering yes I am still carving on Vancouver Island. The weather is absolutly perfect sun and blue skies all week. We have just finished up day three and the carvings are starting to take shape.Sorry I didnt take my USB cord so although I have taken loads of pictures I dont have the means to post any. Just thought i would let you know that I am fine and enjoying the carving there are some really talented people here. Oh by the way Rick I still have all my limbs no accidents this year and I am painting the carving tomorrow so I should be ok
Will talk to you guys and post some pics when I get back hope all are well although I see Alfie is not doing so well.
Colin
Good to hear from you Colin. Enjoy the weather, lots of rain here in the East.
Yes, our friend Alfie isn't doing so well, but hopefully is on the road to recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with him.
Looking forward to news of your trip and competition when you return, and pics as well.
Bob

I tried whining and crying at the wife to let me go south for that carving thing in - Campbell River I think it is - but she wouldn't let me go unless she went to Hawaii, first.
Nuts. At least I'll see a few pix in a day or three.
