Default Mel !!!!!

MEL !!!!

What a surprise ... what a delight ... and what a kind and wonderful thought, Good Sir! I opened my mail box to find this manila envelope inside. Curious (SP), I couldn't wait to get to the house so I opened it up in the driveway to discover a fantastic little wizard with a blue glass crystal ball in his hands peering out at me.

Mel, he's wonderful and I feel very honored to now be his caretaker!!!!! And thank you for your very kind words that came with him.

Thank you!!!!!!

Susan

(The only problem is to remember to hide him when my son comes home for a visit or else I do believe my Mel Wizard might end up in Baltimore, MD ... HMM! Maybe I will be able to figure out a booby trap or something...)

Talking Re: Mel !!!!!

Your welcome, I really do appreciate your help. As for you son, if he trys to take it, turn him over you knee and remind him who's boss!

I like the way you cropped it by the way my photo program doesn't do that I don't think.

Who's boss!?!

The kid is 6'4" and towers over me by at least 6 inches. I remember one day just a year or so ago when he and I got into a 'discussion' and I pulled up on my tip toes and I pointed my finger UP his nose saying clearly and loudly to him ... "I'm bigger than you!!!"

He looked DOWN at me and the both of us just broken up LOL.

Well, Mike seems to have solved the possible problem of the Wizard going off to B-More Town. He put him on our 'Do Not Touch' shelf .... hmmm ... but he put him on his side of the shelf not mine ... hmmm!

Ahhh! Off to do a quick rescue of My Mel Wizard!!!

Susan

That was very nice of you and also a nice little carving you did. By the way, I'll be sending you Group Project IV tomorrow.

Irish, My little bride is 5'7 and son is 6'4 also and about 280. Hoever, She told him once and he believed her ever since. What she said to him was" Son, I love you more than life itself, but, I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it". Now this was from a Cristian lady who loves her son dearly but he pushed her a little to far, But he hasn't since.
I just tell him, I know where you live!

Now, I got to figure out how to get my MelNM ornament away from her.

Mel,
Great wizard! You put something special into every carving, and it shows.

Susan,
One time when my son was just beginning to discover that he was as tall as me, and he pushed me too far, I put my daughter on the school bus, and pulled him aside with a firm..."no, not you". He was already worried, because he knew that when I went silent, rath was forthcoming....

Anyway, he had long red hair that he pulled into a pony tail, and the little girls thought he was really something.
I had him go get the sissors, a towel, and the trash can. He sat there while I pulled his hair straight up and out and wacked it all off in about 4 sissor fulls. Then, I said "get in the car" I'm taking you to school". His hair stuck out in all directions.

All day long, his teachers asked if his mom had done that to his hair. He just quietly said "yes". Then, they told him to thank me.

It was like a story of Sampson and his hair. The girls went away, the attitude was gone, and I had his attention for about 6 months. Of course, it all wore off and he's a junior in college now and about 6 feet tall, but I still show him the sissors every now and then just to remind him I can cut him down to size. He has turned out pretty well. He keeps his hair cut real short though.

Don't know what you can do once they get over 6 feet.

My mom is is about 4'10". And she scared the daylights out of me.

Doesn't matter how big the son is they still know moms boss when it comes down to it.

By the way I call my mom Munchkin, when I pick on her, then I run.
