I have seen this posted on other carving boards and all I ever came up with is mask that are for sell. However, that gave me ideas for carving some. Another carving friend,Curt, carved sever mask out of shelving. Happy carving Kenny

Don't know of any sites dedicated to mask carvings, but I have found some wonderful mask representations at the locsal library under American Indian, or Native American Art. There would probably be many others found in subjects such as Incas, African Art, Egyptian, Oriental, hey there are all sorts of possibilities with examples of styles and materials. Give the library a try! Al |

Thanks folks, the input is appreciated.Feel rather foolishthough. In this modern day of computers,it never even occured to me that the library would be the route to explore.I tried all sorts of sites and didn,t find anything appropriate.I.ll keep exploring. Thanks again.

Don't know if it could be considered a mask site, but L.S. Irish has some unusual designs at www.carvingpatterns.com. He has packages for sale, but also some free stuff. You might try it. Jim

One thing more; ya better be computer litterate when you go to the library, because thos old wooden cabinet card catalogs, that were so easy to find things in, have been replaced by computer files; stuff is still in there, just in a new format! Al |
