I've got to say... Marks instructional DVD is top notch!! I pumped out 6 of these for the holidays, and everybody just loved them!! I amazed myself with how well they came out. Thanks Mark!! Mom's Elf 08.jpg As always, comments and critique are welcome.

Good for you. It is always nice to get positive feedback. That is an unusual picture.

Joy, What's unusual? I thought it made perfect sense to show it in a pile of wood chips, (plus I didn't have time to clear my bench. I was running late yesterday morning, lol).

LOL Jim, it wasn't the wood chips....it is the color tone. It looks like an old faded picture to me. Definitely not bad...just unusual. |

I've got it and haven't been able to devote time to carving one yet. BUT - it's definitely TOP NOTCH and carving one is NEXT on my to do list. Can't wait to try. I am going to start now for my next Christmas carvings. Maybe if I can get a jump on it - I'll actually get some done in time to give them for Christmas!!! ;-) Really nice job on the ornament Jim. I agree with Joy - the color balance seems a little weird on the pic (not bad - just different). I LOVE the chips for the background btw. Cheers ChuckT |
