Maple Dowels

Hello, I didn't receive a reply on the rosewood dowels so I was wondering if anyone knew where to get dark maple dowles, around 4 to 6ft? Thank you

Kenny, check here at Rockler. I don't see any maple dowels, but theyhave several other hardwood species, so maybe they can help you.

Check out ebay items by the seller, mainehardwoods. He sells incredible maple dowels. It's worth just going to his listings to look! I've bought from him before...have some dowels from him that I plan to carve a chess set out of one of these days...incredible bird's eye! I believe all his wood is kiln dried too.

Wade, he wouldn't do it. He said I would have to buy in bulk in order to purchase from him. I don't understand why its so hard to find maple or rosewood dowels? Someone should get into that.

Woodworkers Supply lists 4 ft. Maple dowels in their catalog. Call them and they might even have Rosewood ones. You can ask.
