Cliff, beautiful photo! The lighting is just perfect.

I doubt that I can get to a carving any time soon but I did do my preliminary drawing last night ...

Susan, I'm absolutely blown away, what a fantastic rendering of my photo, I just called the wife in and she said "Wow, that looks like the fella that was in the fields last week", I hadn't told her it was before hand. I'm gonna print a couple copies in hope that he comes along again and give him one, I'm sure he will be thrilled. OH, if only I had some more experience under my belt, "would I ever love to carve that one". Thanks for taking an interest in my little photo, too bad I didn't think to get a profile while I was at it, I was so taken with his looks I was just delighted that he let me take the picture at all.
Funny thing, I printed one out, gave it to him and he said "that's nice" but no thank you, people slay me.

Al and everyone ... YES! You are very welcome to use the drawing. I am hoping to do the line pattern this evening and, if I do get it done, post it too.

Cliff, If you do find the gentleman please get his address. I would be pleased to send him the original drawing ...

Susan

Hey Cliff??? Would you mind if I dropped a copy of this thread in the Pyro section? I think your gentleman would make a great burn and a great wood burning challenge too.

Oh my gosh, Susan! Wow this is such a beautiful drawing of this fellow. I love the pointy ears! Thank you, for the OK for the use of your drawing and of course credit will be given to you for the drawing.

Susan, Please be my guest, anyone is quite welcome to use it, one little thought, if in fact you do a carving of it, what would you charge me for a copy of it. You can reply via personal email.
tuckertwo@toast.net
As far as sending him a signed copy, if you want to send it to me, you have my word that I will get it to him.

Hi Cliff,

What a wonderful picture - I'm going to try a burning of this one (first human face) and I promise to post it.

Susan - thank you for directing us to this thread.
