Default I'm off to Vancouver Island BC

Just a heads up if you are looking for me for the next couple of weeks. I am off to Campbell River on beautiful Vancouver Island. I get to carve on the beach at Willow Point for a whole week. Not sure if its the eagles that fly by all day or the killer whales breaching every now and then. Maybe its the view of nothing but those great Canadian Rockies or the beautiful people I get to carve with but it is my vacation although I usually carve 8 to 10 hours a day. Anyway as usual I ramble just wanted to say I wont be around for a couple of weeks from this weekend if you are looking for me. I promise to take lots of pictures and maybe this year I can win something. BTW I just landed a massive carving that I will be starting on the day after I get back wait till you see the size of this tree.

No Rick I fly into Victoria and then rent a car and drive up Island. One of these years I am going to come early and rent a car drive down to Seattle and see you my friend. In fact that is what I am planning to do next year go a week early and come and spend some time with you and Terri.

Colin,
I was thinking of coming up to watch you carve.
Hopefully not bleed like last year. (carvers are like elephants, we never forget)

Rick are you really coming up to Campbell River if so is it just you or is Theresa coming also? The competition goes from 28th June thru July 2nd all carving must stop by 2pm on Sunday so that the carvings can be judged. Usually by 4 or 5 pm the judging is over and the awards are presented. let me know and I will look for you.
