Sincere thanks to all for taking time to view and comment on my efforts

Thor......wood is from the Brown Tulip Oak or White Booyong (Argyrodendron Trifoliatum) a subtropical rainforest tree from Australia...grows to 45 metres high and can be up to 2 metres through the base....don't think they are still being milled...but my small supply came from the framework of some machines removed from a local 150 year old flour mill.

Al, the hat already has a head to fit, but thinking of it, their are a few pinheads right here in my neighborhood lol

Hi Ho......Good one! <grin>

Mikeg.....just wish I could carve caricatures...hmmmm maybe one day

Kenny S......you have no idea! the other fingers are keeping me awake nights with all their bitchin; about who gets to wear it next....LOL

Actually, there is more to the story and I hope to have snaps to post in the next day or so
Again! thanks to everyone, your comments are really appreciated
John
