I have never had a problem with Rossiter's roughouts. They are very courteous people and willing to help. If there is a stain in the wood, they put it in their discounted box. Anyone is going to get a batch of wood at some point that is hard, etc.
Here are some other sites for you to try:

The Bishops are a husband and wife carving team. They do caricatures. They offer roughouts.

He offers blanks. I have seen him at shows multiple times. I could not pull up any pictures at the web site to see what he has. Maybe you can contact him to get a catalog.
Gerald and Barbara Sears can be reached at
http://www.gnbsearswoodcarving.com
He has many more roughouts than I saw at the website. There are news ones that pop up and old ones are pulled so there is always some change. He does caricatures. They are terrific people and very honest. You should try to take a class from him. I am sure they have a catalog. They supply a nice color handout with the purchase of the roughout of the various views of the finished carving.
Harley Refsal sells blanks. He carves in the Scandinavian flat plane style. You can get his number and address by going to
http://www.cca-carvers.org/refsal.html
I have purchased many blanks from him and the wood has been the very best. It is basswood. He has a pamphlet with prices that he can send you.
Here are my definitions of:
blank = wood that is cut out on a band saw in a general shape of the finishes product
roughout = wood that has been put onto a duplicator with router bits 'roughing out' in a more refined manner than the blank, the general shape of the finished carving
The latter saves much more time. Either can create problems if there has been too much wood removed in spots.
Well, that should be enough to get you going for at least a decade. Good luck.
