Does anyone know where I can get a pattern for "Praying Hands"? I seem to remember seeing a relief carving of praying hands somewhere and I just cannot remember where. If not the praying hands maybe some other religious patterns for relief carving. Thanks, Chipper67

There are some in the gallery , that are really nice pieces if you want to look at some carvings, Another option would be to take a photo and use it . Ash |

I think Ivan Whillock's site has a pattern. I bought one yrs. ago from Constatine's when they were still located in NY. Might give them a look see also.Talking

Old_Gord, Thanks for letting me know that. I just cleaned it up and pm you. Newgouger, Be sure to post a picture when you are done if not before for a work in process. I'd really like to see it. And thanks everyone else for responding. Chipper67 P.S. This past Saturday I attended the Mid-America Woodcarver's annual show in Omaha. They had Desiree Hajny as their guest carver on hand (amazing). Once again it was a really good show. There are some very good carvers in the Omaha club. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures.

Be sure to study your hands while you carve. They have better detail than any pattern you'll find!
