Default looking for opinions of dvd

The Old Texas Woodcarvers Shop provides wood carving tools, wood carving books & roughouts.

I have included a link to the Texas Wood Carvers site, and there is a beginners video on making faces, it is an Indian face, and assume from the picture more caracture(sp) than life-like.....does any have the dvd themselves that can comment on the dvd!....tks in advance...Dennis

Default Re: looking for opinions of dvd

I know Dallas Deege (owner) and am assuming that the DVD is one of his. So, based on this I would not hesitate to say that it would be a worthwhile purhcase for someone in the early stages of caricature carving. Certainly the price is right for the length of the video. I would suggest calling, asking for Dallas, telling him about your carving, where you want to take it and get his opinion on the video. You will enjoy talking to him even if you don't make a purchase.
