Smile Re: Looking for Missouri Carvers

Hi Donna,

I am a "Very New Carver" from Farmington, MO., trying carving for the second time around.

Several years ago, I tried woodcarving for few weeks. I had had to give it up because of my work schedule at the time.

During those few weeks, I met some wonderful carvers, but have since lost track of most of them. I was hoping to get reunited with them by using the message board.

As I say, I am a "Beginning" carver I do have a few of the basic tools and a beginning book; a knife and a gouge.

Since I am not doing well with the instructions in the beginning book I have signed up for Cyndi's Internet course. It's the closest thing I can find to one on one instruction.

Paul
