Take a look at

for our very active club in Kimberling City (Branson area). I am just across Table Rock Lake from Missouri (in Arkansas).

I'm 10 minutes away...does that count? Lived in Bunceton and Lowery City as a kid...that ought to be worth something.

We're trying to move to Willow Springs, MO, but haven't sold our property here yet.

Smile Re: Looking for Missouri Carvers

I'm a "Very Beginning Carver" living in Farmington about an hour or so South of St. Louis.

I tried carving, a few years ago, for a very short time. My work schedule kept me from sticking with. During that short time I met several wonderful carvers in the area, but over the years I have lost track of most of them. I was hoping I could track them down by asking the question on the message board.

I have some beginning carving books plus a knife and a gouge.

I am taking Cyndi's 5 week Internet Course starting Tuesday for I am having a hard time understanding my carving books examples.

I am very interested in the Internet courses for at this time it's as close as I can get to one on one instruction.

It's a Wonderful Life,

Paul
