Default Log In Help Please

Good Morning All,

I have been quietly reading this message board for a few days, and would like to become a member. I 'thought' I had properly registered my name, email, etc. But, when I log in, I immediately get 'logged out' on the next mouse click. One click shows my moniker on the upper right of the screen, and the next click shows 'guest.' I tried re-setting my security, but to no avail. Any help you may be able to offer would be kindly appreciated.

Warren

we all had or have that problem warren, go to tools and lower your security all the way, come into carving world and log in, then go back to your security and reset your settings...I had to do this about three times and now it stays.... (PS I am assuming you clicked the 'always remember square')

Frank,
Try this step by step:
Go to tools (at the very top menu bar)
Then Internet Options (at the bottom of the list)
Privacy (tab at top of page)
Then lower the guage in privacy to the lowest setting
Click OK (at bottom of page)
THEN, log in with your name and password
That should keep you in.
If you don't want your privacy (cookies) to stay that low, you can go back in each time you finish with the WCI site and raise it--I usually keep my setting on medium or just above...it holds down on junk!
It took me a couple of months to get the hang and I had to be told two or three different ways before I caught on.
Good Luck
Donna T

Welcome...now you can play too!
It's a great forum and there are so many great people here. Some you see regularly and then they disappear for awhile --then back again. So much good info and good fun and good folks.

Welcome, Warren (Black Dog!) great to have you with us! I know how frustrating that 'guest' thing is, took me forever to figure it out!
Woody, I hope it's worked for you, if you're still having problems let us know, maybe we can figure it out! Callynne
