Now Bob L. Im older than dirt and as you get older you just do what you can! Plus I had that little block of cedar and wasnt any need to get any smaller. Buttttttttttttt heres one that won in mini's at the show, hes quite a bit smaller.

The main thing no matter what size any of my carvings are they are fun to try to carve plus I value your thoughts on them.

Thanks again!! Forrest

P.S carving smaller carvings I do that which makes it easier packing them to come home after a show!

Forrest, neat little carvings, but I think I need to go back to the dollar store and get me some stronger specks to see them better!

Bob.I pack every carving in a big card board box then tape it all over, then tie all of them with a strong string and hook them behind our old car. We just got home this morning from leaving Sunday from the show! LOL

Really its really nice when you have some smaller carvings to take and bring home from a show but too,I had some bigger and heavy ones like the Big Rock country town thats carved in a few feet of purple heart walnut board. We was the last ones to pack, walking and talking so much all day,I was tied, didnt wear my oxygen, hate haven it on out in public but sure loved it when we finally got in our car to leave.Plus it was pouring down raining loading the carvings but I had brought a nice light coat to take the rain.

All in all,we really loved the show in Hickory and everyone there was super.

Thanks again Bob L.

Forrest

We did make some shine last Christmas its in fruit jars, get this, all of the jars are still sitting on a self over the water & dryer. Not big drinkers less its coffee or ice tea!

The main things is I alway can count on your neat thoughts about my carvings and my ole buddy,I appreciate you!!
