Default Link To Mark Gargac Jig

I was thinking there was an pdf on the jig that Mark uses to cut his blanks in half on the table saw or band saw. Anyone have that?
Thanks!

Corey

Hi Corey,
In the WCI Handcarved Holiday Gifts issue there is one from Chris Pye
Chris Pye: Woodcarving
If you can't find it on Pye's site and you don't have this issue. Let me know. It's for the bandsaw.

Hey Corey...

If you use a table saw no jig is needed... just set the blade to 45 degrees, position the fence and cut. Jig is needed only for band saw.

Corey, you can do the same with a bandsaw as long your table will tilt to an 45 degree angle. That is how hubby cuts my blocks to 45 degrees. He uses another block to brace the right side.
