Default Laura Irish's cross and rose

I finished the cross and rose from the Pattern Laura put on here, I modified it some and scrollsawed the rose as I said I would....

Got a little of everything in there, chip carving, relief carving, some in the round on the leaves, and some good old woodworking skills on the cross. The gloss on the rose & leaves makes it jump out from the satin finish on the cross. Nice Work.

Dave- you are really been keeping busy with your turtle and now this cross & rose you have done an excellent job of combining several types of carving and woodworking into an object d'art

Dave,
The cross and rose look super. How did you attach the rose to the cross?(I assume it was carved seperately (sp?). You've done a wonderful job.Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
